About the blog
Who writes the Crosspost blog
The Crosspost blog is written by the team behind the app β the people who build cross-posting for a living and talk to creators every day. Here's how we work, so you can trust what you read.
Crosspost is a social media app that automatically republishes your content to every platform β TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, Facebook, and X β the moment you post, so creators can post once and grow everywhere. We started the blog because the same questions came up over and over: which tool actually posts everywhere for you, how often to post, when, and how the algorithms really work. The answers were scattered and often wrong, so we wrote them down properly.
Our editorial standards
We test the tools we write about
Comparisons and βalternativeβ posts are written from hands-on use and each tool's own documentation β not rewritten from other listicles. When we say a tool schedules but doesn't auto-repost, it's because we checked.
We cite primary sources
Platform behavior changes constantly, so we link to official creator hubs and help centers (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and others) rather than inventing statistics. If a number isn't verifiable, we say so.
We keep posts current
Every post carries a visible βlast updatedβ date, and we revise guides as platforms change. The year in a title means the advice was checked for that year.
We never fake a claim about our own app
We only describe what Crosspost actually does. We don't claim to strip platform watermarks or do anything a platform's terms forbid.
Who writes here
The blog is written by three people on the Crosspost team, each on their own beat β so the author of a post knows the subject.
Eric Scheer
Cross-posting & creator tools
Eric writes about cross-posting workflows and the tools creators use to get one video onto every platform without the busywork.
Oliver Mayes
Audience growth & strategy
Oliver covers audience growth, hooks, and posting strategy across short-form β the tactics that turn views into a following.
Liam Hurd
Platforms & monetization
Liam breaks down how the platform algorithms rank you and how creators actually get monetized on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and Snapchat.
Corrections & contact
Spot something out of date or wrong? Email support@crosspost.app and we'll fix it. We'd rather be corrected than be wrong.
